A small Calicut family that grew into three branches.

Bowmeow started with one shelf of kibble in February 2025. Three branches and a few hundred happy pets later, we still run the way we did on day one — slowly, gently, and with very real love for the animals who walk in.

The Bowmeow story

It started with one shelf of kibble.

In February 2025 we opened a small corner shop on CWRDM Road in Kottooli with one shelf of Royal Canin and a vague plan. A Labrador named Ammu, belonging to a neighbour, refused to leave the store on day one. We took it as a sign.

The grooming studio came next, then a second shelf, then a second branch in Perinthalmanna, then a third in Nilambur — all within our first year. We've never had a marketing plan, and we don't really have one now. Our customers walk in, their pets like the place, and they bring their cousins.

If they're not ready for a clipper, we skip the clipper. There's always next week.
